Financial Arrangements
How are financial arrangements handled?
The fee for use of the Center includes routine equipment, supplies and drugs and also operating and recovery room services. You may have additional charges for special items not included in this predetermined fee. The fee does not include the professional services of your surgeon, anesthesiologist, radiology, pathology or laboratory.
The Center will bill your insurance or Workman's Compensation as a courtesy; however, the balance due is the patient's responsibility and payment will be requested from you unless your insurance company or attorney pays within 60 days.
Most outpatient surgical procedures are covered by standard medical insurance. Patients may be asked for a partial payment upon admission to the Center, subject to the amount of insurance coverage. Full payment is required at the time of admittance for non-covered procedures and for patients who do not have medical insurance. However, the Center recognizes its obligation to remain flexible in financial matters. MasterCard, Visa and personal checks are accepted. We require all payment arrangements be made prior to your surgery.
